Andrea is a Kansas City based stylist and designer who is excited to help you align to your most powerful and expressive self through what you wear. She loves working with clients of all types around the world to help them create energetic authenticity through the magic of clothing and styling. She believes it is an honor to guide folks through the styling process.

Andrea’s background is in Theater Design where she has worked on dozens of theater shows in wardrobe and as a costume designer. She transitioned to fashion in 2011 and has since created collections for 25+ fashion shows previously, including 7 seasons of Kansas City Fashion Week, 2 seasons of the West Eighteenth Street Fashion Show, 3 seasons of Local Runway, and more. Her design point of view is informed by her travel and broad life experiences, as well as the other artists and makers she meets. She has worked with a variety of clients in the last few years creating custom sewing work, consulting on design, and styling. She also sells her original and vintage clothing by participating in KC pop-up markets. She is grateful to have been featured in various publications including the KC Business Journal, Kansas City Star, Kansas City Magazine, and Marie Claire Magazine along with various TV and podcast appearances.

When she’s not styling or designing, Andrea has adventures with her husband, cuddles with her two cats, and loves trying new plant-based foods. She believes we are here to love ourselves more, take care of our fellow living things and have a damn good time doing it. And thinks we can feel good in our clothes as part of it. A few core beliefs about style

  • Everyone is perfect just as they are

This is a complete sentence. We can also be curious to learn more about style, fashion, colors, and what we love that might bring us additional confidence or better express our values.

Simultaneously, I believe it's important not to let perfectionism inhibit us from moving forward toward our goals, or taking risks or having fun.

  • Fashion and style are not superficial

This is a complex topic I could talk forever about. Letting beauty guide our world view and feeling good in what we wear are a vital part of the human experience. Beauty for the sake of beauty, art for the sake of art, is what keeps our souls glowing in a wild world.

  • Clothing and our relationship to it runs deep

The messages we learn about the 'shoulds and shouldn’ts', the 'rights and wrongs', or the worth we tie to it are all subjects I’ve explored with my clients. Style is about knowing and honoring you and what lights you up.

Clothing is something that expresses our energy, our gender expressions, our inner world, what we value and more. Getting dressed is something we all have to do every day, let’s make it an enjoyable and easy experience.
